A NEWTON Abbot man has admitted breaching a community order.

Kyle Brown, 34, of Raleigh Road, failed without excuse to comply with the requirements of the order to carry out unpaid work and failed to attend a planned appointment with probation.

The sentence was for offences of assault and criminal damage.

Magistrates imposed a suspended prison sentence of 24 weeks.
