A MAN caught on the train at Newton Abbot without a ticket was fined £440 by South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court. Jack Eugene Marc Josephine, aged 25, of Eastern Avenue, Liskeard, was found guilty in his absence and ordered to pay costs of £180 and £44 to fund victim services. He must pay compensation of £32.10
Peter Gan Pao Keong, aged 21, of Northernhay Place, Exeter, was also found guilty by the court in his absence of travelling on the train at Dawlish without a ticket. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay £180 compensation and £44 to fund victim services. He must pay compensation of £30.65.
Jerry Vowles, of Babbacombe Road, Torquay, was also fined £220 for being on the train at Teignmouth without a ticket. He was found guilty in his absence and must pay compensation of £3.40 and £34 towards victim services.
