A MAN accused of driving while banned in Newton Abbot will stand trial at Exeter Crown Court.
Grigore Tiosa, aged 29, of Homefield Road, Exeter, is charged with driving a Mercedes van on the A380 at Newton Abbot while disqualified.
He is also charged with having no insurance and having a false identity document at Newton Abbot’s McDonald’s Restaurant – a Romanian identity card and driving licence in the name of Grigore Moruz.
South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court adjourned the case for a trial at Exeter Crown Court on January 12, 2023.
