A NEWTON Abbot man has been fined for breaching a domestic violence protection order.
Calum Merrick, 22, of St Michael’s Road, admitted breaching the order when he appeared before South and West Devon magistrates.
The order had been made by magistrates in Exeter on August 9.
He was fined £50 for the breach which took place at an address in Torquay on August 30.
South and West Devon magistrates took his early guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
