A CHUDLEIGH man has been fined for possessing an internet device while banned by a sexual harm prevention order.
Paul Carter, 65, pleaded guilty to being in possession of the device, without reasonable excuse, between November 10 2021 and January 26 2022.
The device was not notified to police and was Carter was prohibited from using the device by a sexual harm prevention order issued by magistrates in York in August 2017.
Carter was fined £230 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and prosecution costs of £85.
