A BISHOPSTEIGNTON man has been sent for trial on 13 charges involving sending messages of a sexual nature, inciting girls to engage in sexual activity and possessing indecent child images.
In all cases he entered a plea of not guilty or none was indicated.
Jason Hicks, aged 30, of Canons Close, appeared before South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court.
Hicks faces three charges of sending messages of a sexual nature to a child under 16.
Two charges of sending a sexually explicit picture and messages of a sexual nature to a child under 16.
He is also charged with inciting a girl of 11 to take and send nude pictures of herself. He faces a similar charge for a girl aged nine.
He is further charged with having 127 Category A indecent images of a child, 260 Category B indecent images of a child and 841 Category C indecent images of a child on his computers.
He faces two further charges of inciting a 13-year-old girl to engage in sexual.
He was sent for trial at Exeter Crown Court.
