MAGISTRATES have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Newton Abbot woman charged with assaults on police.

Melissa Clayton, 20, of Bradley Lane, is facing a charge of damaging a watch strap belonging to a police officer on November 6 2021, valued at £30.

She is also charged with further counts of assaults on police officers by beating dating between November 4 and November 6.
