IT will be celebrations all round on Friday, September 16, as Newton Crisis Aid marks its first year up and running, and raising £10,000.
The Newton Abbot-based charity was set up to provide a response to humanitarian emergencies.
St Paul’s Church in Devon Square will be home to the celebration from 7.30pm when some of the work the charity has done over the past 12 months will be on display.
As well as the presentation, there will be a talk from Christine Singfield, who has experience of working with refugees.
