A LOCAL woman is organising a series of events this summer to help connect people to nature and writing.

Emma Parker, a local Ecotherapist, is set to start the series of nature connection and intuitive writing sessions called "Love Letters To The Earth" at Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve.

These sessions will be gentle and restorative, with a double aim to both support people's wellbeing and increase care for the Earth.

Emma will guide participants to connect with nature through their senses and provide a space for them to deepen their relationship with the natural world through intuitive writing prompts.

Research shows that intentionally connecting with nature not only enhances emotional and physical wellbeing but also promotes pro-environment behaviour.

Emma encourages everyone to attend, emphasising that the focus is not on writing technique or performance, but rather on connecting with nature and expressing our love, grief, and care for the Earth through words and community. Participants can share as much or as little as they feel comfortable with during the session.

The sessions will take place at Dawlish Warren on July 12th, July 26th, August 9th, and August 23rd, all from 7pm to 8:30pm. You can attend a single session or all four. The sessions are low cost, with some concession spaces available. For more information, contact Emma at www.deepernature.uk or email her at [email protected].
