A BOVEY Tracey man has denied he made a death threat to a woman.

Darryl Avery, aged 28, of Fore Street, Bovey Tracey, was remanded in custody on the charge of making the threat to kill the woman.

He also faces two charges of assault by beating on the same woman.

He also denies threatening to damage her car. He faces a further charge of damaging her phone.

He was sent for trial at Exeter Crown Court on February 2.
