TWO beech trees in Courtenay Park have a disease called Meripilus Gigante - this disease causes internal damage and seriously weakens a tree’s structure.
The two affected trees need to be felled and work will take place on March 8, 9 and 10, with a lane closure in Station Road from 6.30pm on Thursday, March 9.
Teignbridge District Council will display posters and issue social media posts to let people know what’s happening.
Replacement trees will be planted in due course.
