THE top secret new supermarket deal for Broadmeadow, Teignmouth, could mean a £9million bonanza for the district.

It is understood from various sources that the winning bidder has offered an eye-watering sum to Teignbridge, but the full details will not be known publicly until at least Monday morning.

Firms that were unsuccessful in the bidding war have until midnight tonight to lodge their objections. If any does then the whole process would be brought to a halt.
