A WOMAN was treated by paramedics after being bitten by a dog in Newton Abbot.

The casualty was nipped by ‘man’s best friend’ in Tudor Road just before 4.30pm on Tuesday.

An ambulance crew treated her at the scene for injuries to her hand and wrist.

She did not require hospital treatment.
