DOG owners have been advised to get their dogs and puppies vaccinated against parvo-virus after a ten-week old puppy in Kingsteigton was confirmed as having the infection.

Deana Schneidau, head nurse at the Kingsteignton veterinary group, said that the condition is extremely unusual, can be fatal and that owners should get their dogs vaccinated.
