SEVERAL of Teignbridge's libraries are hosting a special 'New Starters Event' for children starting primary school in September.

The free, fun story and craft-style event is an opportunity for children to meet one another, as well as for parents to meet too.

► Bovey Tracey Library - For those starting at St Catherine's CofE Primary School there is a session from 2pm until 3pm on Friday, June 23.

► Teignmouth Library - For those starting at Our Lady & St Patrick School there is a session from 1.30pm until 2.30pm on Wednesday, June 28.

► Moretonhampstead Library - For those starting at Moretonhampstead Primary School there is a session from 2pm until 3pm on Wednesday, July 5, at Baskervilles Ice Cream Parlour.
