STORM Arwen is set to bring travel disruption and damage as the Met Office has issued a double Yellow Warning of bad weather.
The Met Office has named Storm Arwen and the low-pressure system will bring high winds most of the UK.
The first alert covers from 9am to midnight tomorrow (Friday) and the second from Midnight to 6pm on Saturday.
A Met Office spokesperson said: ‘Storm Arwen will bring high winds to most areas during Saturday.
‘Gusts will widely reach 55 to 65 mph in many coastal areas with the highest gusts in coastal parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, southwest England and northeast England where gusts in excess of 65mph are expected in some areas. Winds will start to slowly ease over Scotland and then northern England during the course of the day.
‘Storm Arwen will bring high winds southwards from northern Scotland during Friday.’
