THE future of Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall hinges on a new management committee being found.

Four of the committee recently resigned and chairman Cllr Janette Parker, who is also vice-chairman of Hennock Parish Council, has been forced to stand down because the rules state a chairman cannot hold office for longer than six years and she has held the position for that amount of time.

Now an extraordinary general meeting is being held in the hall at 8pm on Monday, when it is hoped new blood will come forward.
