IPPLEPEN Village Hall will be home to a Dowsing workshop tomorrow.
Charlie Palmer, who has been dowsing for 15 years, is holding the event where people will be able to learn how to dowse and how to find things on a map.
The idea came to life after Charlie gave a talk to the village’s gardening club last month and before the club arrived, he went for a dowse around the village.
From his mini session, Charlie thinks there was a Medieval settlement in the playing fields – with a place of worship, burial ground and dwellings.
Dowsing is a type of divination employed in attempts to locate things including gemstones, buried metals and grave sites.
The workshop takes place tomorrow from 10.30am until 4pm.
