THE case against a Newton Abbot man, charged with drink-driving, has been discontinued.

Wayne Christian Smith, aged 46, of Foxglove Close had pleaded not guilty a charge that he drove a BMW at Ashburton Road, Newton Abbot, while over the drink-drive limit.

The case came before South and West Devon Magistrates’ and was discontinued by the Crown Prosecution Service.
