A DRIVE-IN cinema is coming to Newton Abbot next week, showing a number of block-buster classics.

A variety of films will be available to watch on the big outdoor screen next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Adventure Drive-In will be travelling the UK with 144-showings, over 20 towns and cities this year.

Guests are invited to pull up and enjoy great entertainment from the safety and comfort of their own cars.

Adventure Drive-In is also working with Tesco to offer complimentary tickets to NHS workers as a thank you for their hard work and dedication during the global Covid-19 pandemic.

12 front row spaces at every screening will be available to NHS workers for free on a first-come-first-served basis and can be accessed by entering the coupon NHSTHANKYOU in the ‘Book Tickets’ section of any event on the Adventure Drive-In website. Passengers can enjoy the films on a giant LED screen, with sound transmitted via state-of-the-art speakers given to each car upon arrival.

Films being screened at Newton Abbot include: Pretty Women, Joker, Back to the Future, Dirty Dancing and Knives Out.

To ensure the safety of the events, a number of measures will be put in place so that the event will be social distance friendly, including having plenty of space between parked cars and entry scanned via reg plates on vehicles to avoid contact with staff.

Guests can bring their own food, snacks and drinks to enjoy from the comfort of their seats, with a full view of the huge LED screens.
