THE owner of Shaldon's multi-award winning Ode restaurant has won his bid to convert Ness Stables into a family-friendly restaurant.
Two weeks ago, Tim Bouget was named as Teignbridge Council's preferred bidder to buy the derelict former stables which were once part of the nearby Grade II listed Ness Farmhouse.
On Monday he won planning consent for change of use and extension to create an eco family-friendly restaurant capable of catering for 100 people.
Teignbridge Council's planning committee agreed the scheme adding two extra conditions to minimise outside disturbance.
