THOSE all important brown envelopes were being ripped open today as A-Level students across Teignbridge discovered if their hard academic work had paid off.
Tears of joy were a sight seen across most of the schools and colleges in Teignbridge as scholars opened their envelopes.
Teachers and parents crowded around the budding academics who were eagerly waiting to unearth their results.
Courses at prestigious universities, apprenticeships at top companies and the occasional gap year full of travelling are just a few of the things the students will be embarking on next.
