Newton Abbot pupils created some incredible floral symbols of hope in time for Freedom Day.

Supported by a generous grant from the Helen Foundation, they have placed 400 clay daffodils to grace the parish of Ogwell and bring hope to the community.

Pupils at Canada Hill Primary School have spent the past few months making clay daffodils to create their ‘Field of Hope’ for Ogwell.

The daffodil installations can be seen on the Ogwell Roundabout on the Newton Abbot to Totnes Road and on Ogwell Green.

If people would like to support the school at the end of the installation, they can donate £5 at the school office and take home a daffodil to keep as a message of hope from the children of the school.
