AN ELDERLY motorist was injured when his car crashed into a wall after he was taken unwell at the wheel near Ipplepen.

It’s thought the driver may have suffered a black-out.

The casualty was taken to Torbay Hospital after injuring his leg in the accident outside Ambrook Farm at 4pm on Thursday.

All three emergency services attended.

Firefighters made the damaged Totnes-registered Vauxhall Vectra safe while

paramedics attended the casualty.

His injuries were not considered serious.
