THE last remaining employees of Axminster Carpets, at Buckfast, have been made redundant, following the closure of the seconds shop on Monday.

The shop, which employed three staff, was left intact after the world famous manufacturer closed the spinning mill site, with the loss of almost 130 jobs, two years ago when it went into administration.
