THE RED REBELS added their support to a protest organised by Extinction Rebellion in Newton Abbot last weekend.
The enigmatic performance protestors caused a fair amount on interest among shoppers in the town as they made their slow way from the St Leonard’s Tower to Market Square.
The gathering was a coordinated effort by XR groups from Teignmouth, Torquay, Totnes, Buckfastleigh, Ashburtonand Newton, which saw an invitation to the ‘Red Rebels.’
‘The young people were really on board, especially younger children who were mesmerised the red rebels,’ said Mike Puleston from Newton Abbot XR.
.
‘It’s a difficult message…climate change is hard thing for people to think about it and consider it the impact of it.’
