LEGENDARY DJ Tony Blackburn OBE is bringing his Sounds of the 60s show back to Torquay’s Princesss Theatre next autumn.
Every week, listeners across the UK tune into BBC Radio 2 to hear Tony play the greatest songs of the 60’s. Now, the legendary DJ will be taking his Sounds of the 60’s show on the road, for a UK tour celebrating the music of this much-loved decade.
An evening of 60s classics performed by the Sounds Of The 60s All Star Band and Singers, and hosted by Tony ,will play at the venue next September is heading back to the Princess Theatre, Torquay in September 2026.
Featuring stories and songs from perhaps the most iconic 10 years in music, fashion and popular culture, the Sounds of the 60s tour will bring to life memories of theat magic era.
The Sounds of the 60s All-Star Band and Singers will perform classic hits from the likes of The Everly Brothers, Elvis, The Drifters, Marvin Gaye, along with fresh medleys from The Rolling Stones, The Walker Brothers, and some of the greatest soul tracks ever recorded, alongside timeless classics from Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder and much more.
