STUDENTS at Newton Abbot College are currently deep in rehearsals for an exciting new arts project—the school’s summer production of The Addams Family Musical.
The show is based upon The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams in his single-panel gag cartoons, which depict a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre.
The performance promises to be a vibrant, funny, and heartwarming take on the much loved gothic family, brought to life by a cast of talented young performers.
The production will runs over three nights Thursday 17, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 July, from 7:00pm to 9:15pm, in the college’s DCA Theatre.
Students have been working tirelessly in rehearsals, developing not only their performance skills but also their confidence, teamwork, and creativity.
"It's such a fun show to work on," said one excited Year 11 cast member. "We’ve all really bonded as a group and can’t wait to show everyone what we've achieved."
