An RAF non-commissioned officer who grew up in Newton Abbot has released a rock single he hopes will raise funds for the Help For Heroes charity.
Cpl Fabian Creber, pictured left, a former Coombeshead College student and now aged 24, is based at RAF Boulmer near Alnwick, Northumberland, where he is an electronic technician and instructor in the Air Defence Ground Environment Maintenance Training School.
The former Newtonian, whose parents and brother still live in the town, first picked up a guitar seven years ago and is now an accomplished player.
In the past eight months he has written and recorded Sounds of the Hallway, playing everything but the drums himself.
His guitar has travelled with him on operational tours to Iraq and Afghanistan and he has played at live music clubs at several RAF stations.
Sounds of the Hallway was inspired by fiancee Lucy-May Upton who has also created original artwork for the track.
