TEIGNBRIDGE'S two new Conservative MPs have vowed to fight for a fairer deal for the south west and to do all they can to protect local services.

Anne Marie Morris for Newton Abbot and Mel Stride for Central Devon were among the sizeable new intake of MPs exposed to politics in the raw at Westminster this week, as the drama of coalition negotiations unfolded around them.
