THe family held at gunpoint by masked raiders during a robbery at Kingsteignton spoke this week for the first time of their terror, writes Dawn Ellis.

Nigel and Sarah Bell, and their 12-year-old daughter, were tied up with duct tape as the raiders demanded money and guns.

The attack happened at Sampsons Farm at 4am on August 8, when two men, dressed in security style clothing and balaclavas, got into the house.

This week, Mr Bell said he complied with their demands, fearing for his family's safety if he refused.

Breaking silence for the first time since the attack, the family said in a statement: 'This horrifying experience has completely changed our lives and our outlook on life. People all too often use the phrase, "It's your worst nightmare", but this truly was our worst nightmare.
