A VIVACIOUS young Newton Abbot woman has died of a brain tumour at the age of just 27.
Beth Kelly, who was diagnosed with the life-limiting condition three years ago, died on Sunday.
A funeral service will be held at Wolborough Church, although a date has yet to be decided.
Ms Kelly was educated at Decoy Primary School and Knowles Hill School before working in Newton Abbot’s Phoenix Sounds music store.
For the last ten years she had been a pharmacy dispenser at Boots.
Tributes have been paid by all members of her family, who described her as a caring and loving individual who loved life and was blessed with a tremendous inner strength.
l A minute’s silence was observed before Newton Abbot Spurs’ first team game against Watcombe last Saturday as a tribute to the club’s tea lady Anne Davey, who served the club for ten years.
Ms Davey, 56, who died at Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital, was a tireless fundraiser who also did volunteer work for Newton Abbot Citizens Advice Bureau.
Her funeral will be at Highweek Parish Church, Newton Abbot, on Thursday at 2pm.
