THE father of a Teignmouth rugby player jailed for having sex with two underage teenage girls has branded the three-year sentence 'harsh'.
Matthew Moses, 30, is behind bars but father Mike, 65, declared: 'I think the sentence was very harsh, because he has never been in trouble before, and has lost so much already.
'He is my son and although he did wrong, I am still proud of him and all he has achieved. His family will stand by him.'
Mr Moses said: 'He is now classed as a paedophile, but most girls of 15 are hardly children these days, and I think the law should be changed, and will be contacting my MP about it.
