THERE is a huge danger that when a £1.1 million permanent gypsy and travellers' site is built at Haldon Ridge, Haldon Hill, the current unauthorised site alongside will remain.

The fear was expressed by Cllr John Goodey at Teignbridge Council Planning Committee on Monday, when Teign Housing Association successfully applied for permission for 15 caravan pitches with individual amenity buildings, associated community building, recycling and bin stores and site roads.
