LEMONFEST, Newton Abbot’s much-loved music festival, is being extended to a two-day event next year.
For seven years the festival has been a one-day celebration at Newton Abbot Racecourse. But next year the gates will be open for two days, on June 9 and 10.
Lemonfest co-founder Matt Freemantle said: ‘It’s been something we’ve been thinking about doing for a few years after constantly being told it needs to be longer, and we’ve decided we’re now ready for it! We’ve got some really exciting acts lined up for both days, and can’t wait to share it with you all in the New Year.’
This year around 5,000 people attended the Saturday festival which hosted an array of local, national, and international DJs and bands across its six diverse stages of music.
Next year the gates will open late on Friday afternoon, adding another full evening and night of live music and DJs.
Earlybird tickets go on sale today at 9am, starting at £22 for a day ticket, with weekend
