THE CLOCK was turned back 40 years at Powderham Castle last weekend as the annual nostalgia-fest known as Let’s Rock Exeter got underway.

The one day retro-festival, curtailed last year by Covid, was back in all it’s colourful glory (bright neon and pastel shades in the colours respect) with a host of acts proving they can still wow an audience as they did forty years ago.

Headline act for the event was Adam Ant and the line-up also included such musical luminaries from the decade including Toyah, Tony Hadley, Fiction Factory, ABC and Wet Wet Wet - to name just a handful.

Festival-goers dressed for the occasion with some eye-catching costumes and clothing from the decade that some say taste forgot.

There’s a report and picture spread in this week’s Mid-Devon Advertiser.
