AN elderly woman was found dead at her home in Hennock yesterday (Sunday).

Police and paramedicas responded to an emergency call just after 10.30am.

The Devon Air Ambulance was involved in the 999 cardiac arrest response.

An 85-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene in the Church Road area.

A police spokesman said there were no suspicious cirumstances.
