A FAMILY fun day is taking place in Newton Abbot tomorrow in a bid to raise cash for Cancer Research UK.

Doodlez the clown will be on hand to entertain youngsters at the town’s Recreational Trust in Marsh Road.

Other entertainment includes a bouncy castle, face painting, stalls, games, a raffle and lots more.

Organiser Kerry April Phillips said: ‘Cancer is never a nice subject or word to hear but it is all around us.

‘There are families and children that need to carry on day after day dealing with cancer.

‘So this day will be aimed at families to have a fun day together.

‘Be part of a great day out and raise money for a great cause.’

The charity day starts at 11.30am and finished at 5pm.
