Villagers came together to enter and support the annual Ogwell Garden Show, held at the Memorial Hall, Ogwell, on Saturday.

Due to the poor weather conditions, the vegetable section was poor this year but the flowers section was well represented.

The cup winners are:

Peggy Knight Cup (fruit/vegetables) and The Brimson Cup (best runner beans), Ted Lane; John Northway Trophy (best sweet peas), Margaret Hadley; June Coffey Cup (flower classes) and The Maureen Bawdon Cup (best rose in show), Fran Fitzgerald; Pat Northway Cup (best flower arrangement) and The Brockley Trophy (domestic classes), Christine Jones; Badcock Cup (needlework classes), Doreen Perryman; Reyner Cup (handicrafts), The Ladies of Ogwell Grange; The Perryman Cup (most points in show), Christine Jones.
