PARCHED folk from near and far descended on the outskirts of Abbotskerswell at the weekend for a jar or two at South Devon’s very own Beer Heaven, writes Paul James.

Those who flocked to Abbfest’s three-day bonanza – all 5,500 of them – were rewarded with good weather and an assortment of drinks to satisfy both the choosy and the easily bewildered.
