The UK hosted the ICTF Inter-Continental Tae kwon Do competition in Swindon last month, which was yet again a great success for Jason Mortimores school of Martial Arts (Puma).

The UK team was selected from across the country for each individuals dedication to training and their success during previous competitions. Mortimore was honoured to have eight of his students selected to represent the UK in the ICTF Inter-Continental competition.

Richard Harze and Natalie McColl were selected to be part of the five-man/woman teams which formed part of the Fight Night held on the Saturday evening.

Harze came away from the team events having faced some great opponents from the other countries with Gold team sparring and Gold team patterns.

McColl, who also faced tough opponents during the team events, came away with Gold team sparring and Silver team patterns.

The eight students all proved to be of the high standard required in the individual events which included sparring, patterns and special technique to be selected for the elite Puma UK Squad.

All students came home with a medal which will add to the mountain of medals already at the Puma school.
