A TEIGNMOUTH businessman got on his bike to help a heart charity.

Andy Scott, managing director of Four Abilities CIC, decided to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, after his wife Angie underwent major heart surgery.

He cycled the 58 miles from Barnstaple to Teignmouth and raised more than £450.

'Last year was a difficult year. Angie had heart valve surgery in January, and while she was undergoing rehab I found out that I was going to be made redundant,' he said.
