Supporters of Newton Abbot Community Transport Association have celebrated the 21st anniversary of the organisation, which now pumps an estimated £405,000 into the town's economy each year, writes Nigel Canham.
A report commissioned by the group's manager, Kay Yendall, suggested that the association's fleet of vehicles undertook almost 21,000 journeys last year and covered more than 77,000 miles.
