Kingsteignton residents are launching a last ditch battle against plans for a freight transport station and industrial park on the outskirts of the town.

Now they have formed a campaign group in a bid to meet the deadline to put their complaints about the inclusion of the Ware Barton site, which they are calling a 'carbuncle', in the final version of the local plan.

Kingsteignton Community Forum members are planning to leaflet homes in the area to raise awareness of future plans for the site and canvas opinions.
