MORE than 3,500 festive shoppers headed to Seale-Hayne for the annual Hannahs Christmas fayre.

For the first time, the event included a Winter Wonderland featuring a skating rink and giant 50ft bouncy snowman.

Seale-Hayne was packed with 90 stalls selling a range of Christmas gifts and the food tent proved popular.

The Christmas crafts room was another hit with youngsters creating reindeer headdresses and festive decorations.

Organiser Nicola Moorhouse said: ‘Our fayre is the biggest fundraising event in the calendar and 2016 looks to be the best year yet.

‘We welcomed lots of new stalls and our popular food and drink marquee along with the Winter Wonderland skating rink and 50ft bouncy snowman created a real buzz and a great start to the festive season.

‘We would like to thank all our visitors for taking the time to support our fayre and look forward to seeing them again next year.’
