TEIGNBRIDGE saw 88 new people testing positive for Covid on February 24.

The latest Government figures reveal that between February 18 and 24 February, 593 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -31.3% compared to the previous seven days.

Fortunately there were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in Teignbridge on February 24.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 16 patients in hospital with coronavirus on February 22.

There were no coronavirus patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator on the same day.
