AS Booster and vaccination sessions went on apace yesterday, 153 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported across Teignbridge yesterday (Thursday).
This means that between December 17 and 23, 763 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This shows an increase of 9.5% compared to the previous seven days according to the latest Government figures.

One person with coronavirus went into hospital on December 19.
Between December 13 and 19 December, 18 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows a decrease of -30.8% compared to the previous seven days.
There were 25 patients in hospital with coronavirus on December 21.
Some people in the hospital need to use a special device called a mechanical ventilator to help them breathe.
There were two coronavirus patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator on December 21.
Deaths in Teignbridge
There were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on December 23.
Between December 17 and 23, there have been three deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows no change compared to the previous seven days.
