A BISHOPSTEIGNTON-based charity has helped to raise the profile around the world of a fairly rare medical ailment.
It was launched a year ago to offer support to sufferers of DDH, a hip condition which occurs when the head of the femur does not fit correctly in the socket.
Founder Natalie Trice said: ‘While DDH isn’t life-threatening, it has been totally life-changing for us.
‘Watching my son Lucas go though endless operations and spending months recovering has been heartbreaking, but it inspired me to change the situation.
