A BRAND NEW £15million state-of-the-art intensive care unit at Torbay Hospital is set to open next month.

As well as the unit, the project, which has been in progress for the past 18 months, will also see dedicated facilities for relatives and a new main entrance with a cafe, shop and public amenities.

The official opening ceremony will take place on February 22.
