A COMMUNITY-run shop is desperate for more volunteers to help keep it running.
The village Shop at Stokeinteignhead may be forced to reduce its Sunday opening hours unless more people come forward.
Manager Tara Riggs, the only paid member of staff, said: 'We have plenty of customers but we just don't have enough volunteers.
'Most community shops like this have about 60 people helping out but we have 21 who do regular weekly shifts of two hours.
'People rely on us particularly those who find it difficult to get out.'
